Over the last 2 decades I’ve casually investigated the link between crop circles, their geometries and how they relate to astronomical and planetary alignments.
The start of the 2025 crop circle season is upon us with the latest formation appearing in Wiltshire UK on 15 May, 2025.

Located in a field near Sutton Veny, Warminster, 51° 10′ 05″N, 2° 09′ 12″W, in barley wheat, this formation contains obvious square geometries, in addition to other hidden geometries not so readily apparent. (Original Images from Crop Circles From Above, overlaid geometry by myself.)

What follows is a side by side comparison comparing the tropical chart and the sidereal chart at the location of the formation. Sunrise in the locale has been used for the charts. The exact time of the appearances of crop circles is hard to pinpoint. Most are found in the early hours of morning after their formation and discovery. I’ve also included charts for the time of Jupiter rising, for reasons that will be become apparent.
But first, a quick survey of the sky and land.

The Crop Circle appeared in a natural amphitheatre; the eastern edge of which gently inclines from the North East following the path of the ecliptic and rising sun around most of the periphery of the formation throughout the day.
Sunrise on May 15, 2025 was 5.25am (British Standard Time -1hr) at the location.
From the formation, the sun rose in line with the nearby Church of St John. Behind the church, from a birds eye view we can see the tallest hill in the area, Martinsell Hill far off on the horizion, an area where Crop Circles have occurred often over the years. Also curiously we see Mercury, having already risen pre-dawn, above the other local Church of St Leonard. This is something I’ve noticed over my years of research – crop formations in the landscape appearing to line up with other sacred sites, including churches.
The Pleiades, rises a few minutes before sunrise, in the direction of Uffington White Horse. The white horse has strong ties to the Pleides and Taurus rising from the horizon.
Lets now compare some tropical and sidereal charts for Sunrise on the day of the formation.

Tropical Chart vs Sidereal Chart. (Pull Slider arrows over the center of the image.
The most obvious thing that jumps out is the perfect Trine angles between the Ascendant/ Descendant, Mid-Heaven / Imum-Coeli, and the Lunar nodes. The Lunar nodes also form a Grand Cross and Square angles with the positions of the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn (and Ceres).
What may not be so-readily apparent is the angles of these points on each zodiac. In the tropical system we see the Ascendant and Sunrise at 24 and half deg Taurus, the other nodes and planets also roughly 25 degrees. However, in the Sidereal system we also see all these nodes on the very cusp of the sidereal zodiac signs of 30 degrees each.

Left to Right: Jupiter rising, Moon Setting. Sun at Mid-Heaven. Some Asteroids added to chart, Hygeia, Chiron, Eris, Vesta, Pallas, Juno, all on Sidereal zodiac cusps; Vesta at a mid-point.
Finally, the Crop Circle overall bears some resemblance to a Vedic Sidereal Chart.

There’s alot more to discover in these charts, but for now I wanted to keep it as simple as possible to show how crop circles may contain hidden astrological significances. Of course this is based on the reality of where the celestial objects actually are in the sky at the time of Crop Circle appearances – conjoining the arts of astronomy and astrology; Sidereal Astrology, rather than an outdated tropical zodiac. Part of the Crop Circle phenomena may be the encodement of what is happening in the heavens, being broadcast onto the earth. A continuation of Hermetic tradition of “As Above, So Below.”
I may return to a follow up post on this formation at some point. I also plan on posting some of my older research on Crop Circles and astronomical alignments in future posts.
In the meantime, here’s more drone footage from the formation from Crop Circles from Above..
And this documented entry into this beautiful formation. Keep it Real, Luke^
